During the 2007 growing season moderate yields were punctuated by smaller berries and a larger skin to pulp ratio resulting in sweet, delicious tannins and exceptional colour in the reds. 100% Estate grown at Persephone Ranch Vineyard located on the backside of Howell Mountain, where altitude and soil contribute to wines that are intense, layered and complex in flavour. 

Tasting note:  Bright ruby in colour with hues of magenta and rose. The nose is loaded with cherry cola, classic briar berry fruit, and a hint of white pepper. The palate builds with brilliant notes of razzleberry pie (raspberry and blackberry), toasted macadamia nuts and a hint of cinnamon. This is an elegant wine with a lengthy finish, bright acidity and well-structured tannins. Drink now or age for 5-7 years.
