Tasting note:  A brilliant appearance with pale yellow straw colour. Classic and intense Riesling aromatics with hints of yellow grapefruit, lime, honey and a flinty minerality. The palate is vibrant and shows great depth of flavours. This concentrated wine has a core of yellow pomello with candied citrus and lime. An austere wine that shows great finesse, power, beautiful balance and an extraordinary length. These are trademark characteristics of the Rosomel Vineyard, specifically Roman’s Block terroir.

Review: This very good riesling is very high in acid, relentlessly dry, and shows well-defined fruit. It’s built for food that will take care of some of the acidity and render it merely mouth-watering and zesty.  Rod Phillips   

Review: Riesling lovers, don’t miss out on this—from the famous 21-B Weiss clone,  (producing Canada’s Best Riesling 6 times) this tiny 3-acre block of 34-year-old vines was hand picked, hand sorted, then whole-bunched pressed, and fermented using wild yeasts. Slate, mineral and lemon-lime citrus aromas trumpet a river of crisp, racy flavours on the palate—Granny Smith apple, key lime and mineral-infused ripe grapefruit galore.
