Tasting Note: Grown in mixed soil, primarily of clay, 300m above sea level, the vineyards are organically farmed, never sprayed with systemic fungicides, pesticides or herbicides.The wine is intended to be consumed within 2-3 years of release.  With an intense and ethereal nose, this full-bodied red is dense and chewy, with great purity of fruit.  The fresh acidity keeps it light on its feet, and all the tannins are fruit tannins; not a single day was spent in oak!  This has been my pizza/pasta go to wine for the last few months.
