Bolgheri Vignare 2004

Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot.
Maturation: 18 months in 225 liter casks
Suggested food: Rich meat dishes and ripe cheeses.
Tasting notes / Review: Intense, deep ruby red in the colour. Fine and broad with notes of small black fruits and pleasant spicy sensations. Full and with a great structure sustained by mature, silky tannins; nuances of coconut and tobacco, with long persistence on the palate.
"Gorgeous aromas of blackberry and currant, with hints of vanilla. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and a silky finish. Balanced and refined. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Best after 2008. 1,000 cases made." 90 pts James Suckling, Wine Spectator
93 pts David Lawrason
