Burgundy (Auxey-Duresses)
Cremant Blanc de Blancs 2004

Varietals: 50% Aligoté, 50% Chardonnay
Age of vines: 12 years
Soil type: Limestone and marl
Maturation: 6 months in vat, 15 months in bottle
Alcohol: 13.4%
Suggested food: Enjoy as an aperitif, cheeseburger & fries, hors d’oeuvres, grilled calamari, fatty, full-flavoured fish like salmon and cod
Tasting notes: This sparkling wine bursts with a beautiful explosion of bubbles, a bouquet of butter and brioche on the nose, and a well-balanced palate. Enjoy on its own or as a kir royal, with crème de cassis or crème de framboise. Blended from Chardonnay grapes grown on sloped vineyards and Aligoté grown on flat plains, the 2000 vintage has aged gracefully and is drinking beautifully.
