Only the best local varieties from top quality vineyards in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal are used. Grapes mature perfectly in the hot and dry Mediterranean climate while retaining freshness from the cool nights. Soils are infertile rocky schists, naturally low-yielding, producing concentrated, healthy fruit.
Tasting Notes: Dark ruby-violet colour with a generous aroma of red fruits; subtle toasted spice and refreshing eucalyptus notes. Concentrated, rich and persistent. Serve at 16ºC with well flavored grilled red meats.
