Tasting notes / Reviews: Grenache from the 2002 vintage was stunning. Early during fermentation a plethora of spicy, floral, rose petal characteristics started to appear and later toward the end of fermentation and during basket pressing the spicy wine showed distinctive plum and lavender characters. The freshness of the wine is outstanding as it receives no oak treatment but rather is kept tightly sealed in stainless steal tanks until bottling to retain the purity of fruit it richly displays.
"Very smooth and supple; light to medium bodied, spicy/savoury edges to the berry mid palate fruit. Very good value." 89 pts James Halliday, Sept 2004
