“Loimer’s hands-off, natural (biodynamic, in fact) approach to wine production is evidenced here in this excellent 2009. The nose is almost pure stony minerality the way we like it, with underlying ripe, concentrated fruit and intriguing herbal and herb flower notes. The palate is fullish, succulent, nicely concentrated, with a beautiful range of flavours and excellent length. A superb, vibrant wine here, especially at this price.
