Heissenberg Gewurztraminer 2004

Varietal: Gewurztraminer
Soil Type: Sandstone and clay
Aging: 11 months in 50 hl French oak cask
Alcohol: 13.5%
Tasting notes: This Gewurztraminer is a gorgeous example of this varietal grown in its home. With an intense nose wavering between roses and lychee fruit, the palate is medium bodied, showing minerality. It has a touch residual sugar to give it finesse and body; it is delicate and elegant with a long and lush finish. Very clean, fragrant and refreshing.
