Hand harvested in the second and third weeks of September, the grapes are carefully destemmed and left to macerate for a short period.
Varietals: 85% Pinot Bianco, 12% Chardonnay, 3% Picolit
Reviews: ”Blend of 85% Pinot Bianco, 12% Chardonnay and 3% Picolit. Partial malolactic fermentation took place in new and neutral French oak barrels with further10 months of ageing as well. Powerful yet elegant. Intense aromas of topical fruit - tangerine, smokey - oaky notes and gun flint. Full with plush texture and explosive, ripe and sweet fruit flavours and an icredily long-lingering finish. 4 1/2 stars out of 5.” (Zoltan Szabo)
”Bright straw colour; toasty, Mirabelle plum with a spicy oaky note on the nose; mouth-filling spicy tangerine and apple flavours with a velvety mouth feel; beautifully balanced, great length with a caramel note in the finish.” 92 pts, Tony Aspler
