Suggested food: Meat pasta sauces, perfect for wild boar pasta sauces and roasted lamb.

Tasting notes: This medium bodied blend of Sangiovese with a touch of Shiraz (3%) was aged for 3 months in 5 hectolitre French and Slavonian oak casks.  It shows aromas of blackberry and raspberry, followed by light coffee notes.  Round and fairly tannic with bright acidity, the fruit notes persist with a long cherry finish.
