Pinot Noir Serendipity 2008

Pinot Noir Serendipity 2008

Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir

Tasting Notes: “Serendipity” is a small production cuvee that is the result of a one-time collaboration with Tony Rynders, one of Oregon’s finest winemakers. Tony personally selected his favourite clones from specific rows within Le Cadeau Vineyard to create the Serendipity cuvee. This lovely Pinot Noir features an exotic assortment of deep red fruits wrapped in a smooth, polished, texture.

Reviews: “Lithe, generous and light on its feet, with wild berry, wild cherry and mineral flavors dancing happily over fine tannins, finishing with verve. Drink now through 2018. 68 cases made.” 93 points, (HS, Wine Spectator, Feb. 2011)

“Deep, bright ruby. Sexy, wild aromas of crushed dark berries, spicecake, dried flowers and underbrush. Then broad, plush and silky, with impressive volume to the smoky red and dark fruit flavors. This seamless, high-toned wine has serious stuffing and finishes sweet and very long, with a touch of warmth and a persistent mocha quality. This is mostly Pommard clone, balanced with some Dijon clones and fermented with 15% whole clusters. Made by Tony Rynders, formerly of Domaine Serene.” 92 points, (Josh Raynolds, International Wine Cellar)
