Tasting notes: Medium translucent ruby core to youthful ruby rim. Nose is a little shy showing sweet, ripe strawberry and blackberry notes, as well as vanilla, wood spice, spearmint and a touch of shitake mushroom. The wine is medium bodied, with bright acidity, sweet cherry and vanilla, white button mushroom and cardamon. Tannins are fine, elegant and delicious, not overly sweet and not aggressively dry.
