Tasting notes / Reviews:  A unique style of Vinho Verde that is weighty and concentrated, without any carbon dioxide. João Pedro Araujo, owner of Casa de Cello, believes that the only reason one would have any spritz in a Vinho Verde is to mask faults in the wine. As he says, he has nothing to hide! And rightly so - this "Green Wine" is crisp, with a lively backbone of acidity. With notes of pear, fresh herbs and white peaches on the nose, the palate is dry, with a rich, green apple creaminess on the palate complimented by a long, refreshing finish. Very versatile, and pairs especially well with oily fish.

"Really very pretty fresh aromas like lemon drops, fresh herbs and minerals; highly inviting. Bone dry, clean, electrifying acidity. Deceptively light and delicate, this wine really lingers nicely on the palate with a whack of fresh citric fruit and floral notes. No CO2. Ideal summer sipper – drink now, though I suspect it will also hold for a year or two." 88+ pts, John Szabo, MS, Wine Access First In Line eReport
