Maturation: 40% spent four months including fermentation in new French oak hogsheads.
Alcohol: 13%
Tasting notes: Light pale straw with hints of green. Fresh gooseberry and fruit salad characters on a background of nutty/toasty characters from the portion which was barrel fermented and matured. Light to medium bodied with a soft creamy texture. The fruit flavours are gooseberry and white peach. The oak handling has introduced savoury characters and a creamy mouthfeel to the palate. Consume within 18 months of release.
