Tasting notes: A cheeky robust Shiraz with explosive flavour and great balance! The hue is deep red purple. Powerful aromas of spicy red berry jam with floral notes. The palate is filled with explosive juicy fruit and light silken tannins. A bold Shiraz yet complex and soft enough to be a great food wine.
Review: “Rich, chocolaty, savory and spicy. A classic McLaren Vale profile delivering plenty of impact both aromatically and on the palate. Subtle notes of eucalyptus, crunchy black pepper and sea salt balance out the rich, jammy fruit. Tannins are chewy and ripe. A solid, well-balance and modern example of this varietal at a reasonable price. Tasted June 2011.” 88 points, Sara d’Amato.
