SIX NEW Mixed Cases Now Available on our Website
We've just loaded SIX new Mixed Cases onto the Le Sommelier website to usher in fall. We've selected autumnal-ready whites and reds (including two red wine only mixed cases) primed for pairing with the harvest season's bountiful foodstuffs. We've also designed two special focus cases this month, one highlighting French traditional method sparkling wines (including Champagne), and the other diving deep into Tuscan reds, and our love of Sangiovese.
These limited edition mixed cases of 6 or 12 bottles were intended for restaurants and special events, and filled with wines not found in the LCBO. Now you can enjoy these special selections in the comfort of your own home, with contactless delivery to your door, anywhere in Ontario. Mixed cases will be shipped within 3-10 business days, and we will coordinate delivery with you directly.
Please note we cannot process wine orders outside of Ontario.
Wine can only be ordered from, and shipped to, an address in Ontario

Mixed Case NATTY BY NATURE
The definition of natural wine is much debated. For us, it indicates wine made without any chemicals, and with minimum technological intervention in growing grapes and the winemaking process. It is looking back to historical winemaking, before these so-called chemical advancements were invented. Wines are native fermented with ambient wild yeasts, often in concrete, terracotta, or neutral wood. No inputs or outtakes (sugar, acid, etc.) are typically used. Some natural wine producers also mandate dry farming, hand picking, and an absence of fining or filtration. We seek out producers around the world who are champions of their terroir, and are committed to showing it in the most natural way possible.

Mixed Case DOMAINE ROLET
Domaine Rolet was founded in the 1942 by Désiré Rolet. The children eventually took over the business, and the winery gradually acquired premium vineyards across all four Jura appellations: Arbois, Côtes du Jura, Étoile, and Château-Chalon. Their 65ha of estate vineyards makes them the largest family owned winery in the Jura. The estate only vinifies the grapes grown from their vineyards using sustainable viticulture methods.Since June 2018, the Devillard family, also winegrowers in Burgundy and owner of the estates of Chamirey in Mercurey and des Perdrix à Nuits St George, together with the Flambert and Dupuis families have bought the Rolet estate. The wines produced are in the same spirit initiated by the Rolet family with a philosophy to maintain a style of typical Jura wines and the same conviction to meticulous work in the vineyard. The winemaker is Cédric Ducoté.

Mixed Case VINO LAURIA
Vito Lauria is a Sicilian local. After studying winemaking in Friuli, he returned home in 2005 to take over his family's winery in the west of Sicily, renovating the vineyards, focusing on organic viticulture. Vino Lauria focuses on Sicilian indigenous varieties, like Grillo, Catarratto, Fontane Bianche, and Zibibbo for whites, plus Nero d’Avola, Perricone, and Frappato for reds. His 70 hectares of vineyards are spread throughout Alcamo, ranging from 600-1000 meters and on clay and calcareous soils.
