It's SUMMERTIME and we've been busy building NEW Mixed Cases to greet the sunshine. Check out our Summertime Sippers, and Summer Whites case, packed with refreshing, patio-ready whites, bubbles, and lighter reds. We've also just released two Women in Wine cases, one focusing entirely on our Italian producers, Donne del Vino. We're also getting into that Mediterranean mood with a new Vino Lauria Mixed Case, highlighting Sicilian flavours and grapes. This is in addition to our existing 12+ Mixed Cases on the site, ready for delivery to your door, anywhere in Ontario.

Check them all out and order online here.

We have two summer ready wines in the current VINTAGES release, ready to crack and enjoy this summer.

Casal de Ventozela Espadeiro Rosé 2020

From the indigenous Espadeiro grape, this rosé is very fresh and fruity with hints of raspberries and wild strawberries, a touch of sweetness and a granitic hum on the snappy finish. A light, refreshing wine for this summer.

Appellation : DOC Vinho Verde
Region: Portugal
Grape(s) : Espadeiro
Price : $14.95 for 750mL
LCBO : 450841

Silvio Carta Su Puddu Vermentino di Sardegna DOC 2019

There's a lovely glossy / oily slick that glides this Vermentino along the medium-bodied palate, flowing with lemon drop, musk melon, pink apple, Asian pear, and fine almond spice. You can feel the warm Sardinian sunshine and the grape's tendency to build alcohol and glycerol here, with a warming flush on the finish. These grapes come from the area of Olbia Tempio, at the north of the island, where the sea breezes feed the acidity. Lovely seafood wine, and great value.

Read more about Silvio Carta here.

Appellation : DOC Vermentino di Sardegna
Region: Sardegna, Italy
Grape(s) : Vermentino
Price : $17.95 for 750mL
LCBO : 230599

Most of our producers are small, independently owned and operated businesses, like ours. You can view our complete portfolio here. Thank you for letting us share these producers and wines with you.

Inaugural Grapes for Climate Change Auction

Grapes for Humanity is holding three provincial wine auctions this fall in Ontario, BC, and Alberta to raise funds to aid in the battle against the threat of Climate Change, and to support global communities in need.

These Grapes for Humanity charity wine auctions will be held October 12-18, 2021 in partnership with Irongate Auctions and the Vancouver Club in BC. They are also participating in the Grapes for Humanity Global partnership with Christie’s Auction House to produce a New York City auction later this fall.

Proceeds from these charitable, virtual wine auctions will support national and global organizations in the battle against the Climate Crisis alongside our long-standing support of global humanitarian projects to address poverty, and improve education, and health.

If you are interested in donating fine wine to these important auction events, please email me directly, and I will put you in touch with the committee. All donations will be eligible for a tax receipt for the appraised value of the lot.
