Casal de Ventozela is located in the Vinho Verde Region, one of the largest and oldest wine regions in the world, and for almost 40 years it has been a family business.

Vasco Croft took over his mother’s semi-abandoned 17th century family estate in 2003 in the Lima Valley in the north of Vinho Verde, and began conversion to biodynamics. He is regarded today as one of the pioneering biodynamic winters in Portugal.
