Sommelier Ellen Jakobsmeier is a lady we have always had a lot of love for here at Good Food Revolution. Her great palate and wicked sense of humour are a winning combination that simply lights up the room; her impromptu stand-up comedy turn at the Harbord Room after the Grand Cru dinners a few years back is one that will stick in my memory for years to come.
Ellen is now living the dream and calls France her home. She was recently in Toronto to promote the superb wines of Domaine Rolet in the Jura, and so we met her early one morning to speak about their wines, and why you should be drinking them.
