1701 Franciacorta is a 10-hectare biodynamic-certified estate, the first and only certified biodynamic producer in the Franciacorta region. 1/3 of the Chardonnay underwent one-week skin contact before fermenting and aging on lees in the amphora for eight months. Baked apple, pear skin, and lemon pith are seasoned with mineral salts and etched with a very fine concrete texture, lingering with a humming salinity.
