From 10+ year old vines around 300m, this Brunello blends fruit from of a blend of two different soils: clays rich in Magnesium, Iron, and Manganese from the Cru Canalicchio; and galestro soils with a very high mineral component, characteristic of the Cru Montosoli. It was fermented in stainless, with 3 weeks on skins, prior to 36 months in Slavonian oak casks of 2500 and 5000L.

The wine's long mandatory aging period has added to its aromatic intensity and textural weight.
