From Churton's organic and biodynamically farmed hillside vineyard above the Waihopai Valley, this was whole bunch pressed and native fermented long and slow in a mix of stainless and barrel, with each plot vinified separately and held on lees for 9 months prior to racking and bottling. Bright and punchy passionfruit leads, followed by pink grapefruit, tangerine, crunchy green apple, and stony spice along the juicy palate. Snappy and fresh.

Readers can expect restrained floral notes, sweet apple and nectarine, and the merest hint of flinty character. It has rich substance within its mid-weight core, and the finish is long and texturally complex.
