Sam and Mandy Weaver founded Churton with organic roots more than 30 years ago, at a time when organic farming was basically unheard of in Marlborough. Their sons, Ben and Jack, are how at the helm of this close family winery, stewarding the project into the future.
The Weavers are known for their distinctive and pure-fruited organic and biodynamically farmed wines coming from their hillside vineyards in Marlborough’s Waihopai Valley.

Sauvignon Blanc
From Churton's organic and biodynamically farmed hillside vineyard above the Waihopai Valley, this was whole bunch pressed and native fermented long and slow in a mix of stainless and barrel, with each plot vinified separately and held on lees for 9 months prior to racking and bottling.
Bright and punchy passionfruit leads, followed by pink grapefruit, tangerine, crunchy green apple, and stony spice along the juicy palate. Snappy and fresh.
