Dolcetto d’Alba

This organic Dolcetto comes off Ravera di Monforte d’Alba, Mosconi, and Le Coste di Monforte d’Alba, and clay lime marls, around 400m. It was fermented and aged in stainless for a few months. The challengingly dry 2022 vintage has yielded very perfumed plum, cherry, raspberry and herbal mustard seed, with long, finely grippy sticky tannins guiding to a purple floral finish. Bright acidity carries this fragrant and pretty medium bodied red through a pink peppercorn finish.
