This organically farmed Chenin comes mostly from Ligré's chalky, limestone clay soils, and was native cool fermented in stainless, to preserve the bright, fresh, very special character of Chenin on limestone.
Bright and shining, with lemon, verbena, and quince blossom running a sleek palate, with a subtle, alluring Chenin waxiness that takes this to a saline finish. Vibrant acidity keeps this lively now, and ensures some great years ahead.
