The first Toscana IGT created by Il Palagio, this full bodied and age-worthy wine is named after Sting’s Sister Moon. This blend of organically grown Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in stainless steel and aged for 14 months in French tonneaux. Worked leather, fresh and dried black cherries, dried green herbs are drawn across the full, fleshy palate, pinned with sticky, dark cocoa tannins, and judiciously seasoned with wood and baking spices. Dense and structural, this youthful bigger red benefits from a decant now, or time in your cellar before enjoying with roasted beef / lamb / veg.
