This biodynamic, massale selection Garnacha Pelluda (aka Hairy Garnacha) is rooted on a 400m terrace facing north, protected by easterly-wind forests that give it a unique expression. Calciferous-clay and loess soils gives it a unique finesse, resulting in an airy, delicate, and subtle Garnacha. After a native ferment, it aged for 1 year in French barrels. Fragrant wild raspberry, perfumed cherry is infiltrated with ample scrubby mountainous herbs, gentle white pepper, and kissed with wildflowers. Tannins are long, fine, and well absorbed into the fruit, allowing this to run long on the gently warming finish. A lovely mountain garnacha, very pure, drinking smartly now and with time ahead.
