Bruno Giacosa was a titan in the world of wine whose reputation transcended not only Piemonte but all of Italy. These 20 year old vines are rooted in calcareous clays at 250m. After 3 weeks’ maceration and fermentation, this aged 18 months in large oak barrels, followed by 1 year in bottle prior to release. 3,600 bottles produced.
