Nebbiolo dAlba
From Valmaggiore, in the village of Vezza d’Alba, and vines of 42 years, this Nebbiolo was fermented and macerated over 15 days in stainless, before heading to French oak for 14 months’ rest. Fragrant wild cherry, black raspberry, worn leather are layered through this savoury, elegant medium+ wine, housed by long, very fine tannins. The finish lingers into a fade of walnuts and flake salts. Really impressive now, and with time ahead.
