Merlettaie means lace, and the name of this wine pays homage to the lace workers of Offida, characteristic of these hills much like the Pecorino grape. From vineyards in Offida and Acquaviva Picena, at 280m, this was native fermented and aged in 25hL Slavonian oak barrels over a period of 8-10 weeks, where it remained for 6 months on lees prior to bottling. Creamy and expansive on the palate, with toasted almonds, ripe pear, lemon curd, white peach blossoms, seasoned with light toast. This is a full-bodied, stately, polished wine, ready to tackle creamy dishes.

This leaves the palate reverberating with citrusy tension mixed with nuances of young peach while finishing almost salty in character.
