Youthful, energetic, travelled Enrico Rivetto farms his family's estate with a philosophy beyond biodynamics (they're the first Demeter certified winery in Barolo), and towards complete biodiversity. This nebbiolo, tipped with 5 percent barbera, comes from a west facing vineyard planted 340-400m on clay and limestone at the top of Lirano Hill, between Sinio and Serralunga d’Alba. This was native fermented in stainless. Fragrant roses, candle wax, wild raspberry, wild strawberry floods the medium palate, hugged with fuzzy tannins and tight with rhubarb acidity. A friendly, easy choice for enjoying now.
