Champagne Nominé-Renard
Champagne Nominé-Renard
Champagne, France
Unlike many other Houses, Nominé Renard champagne is not linked to a single Champagne terroir. Based in Villevenard (Vallé de la Marne), the Nominé family's sustainably farmed vineyards extend over 20 hectares spread over the slopes of Petit Morin, Sézannais, and the Marne valley. This geographical diversity allows 3rd generation vigneron (5th generation vine grower) Simon Nominé to produce very distinctive wines and blends based on a variety of vintages. The winery was begun by his grandfather, and they were a founding member of Club Trésors de Champagne (Special Club) in 1971.

Champagne Nominé-Renard
Blanc de Blancs Brut
Based in Vallée de la Marne's Villevenard, the Nominé family's vineyards extend over 20 hectares, spread over the slopes of Petit Morin, Sézannais, and the Marne. The diversity gives 3rd generation Simon Nominé lots to work with in his blends. This NV has 30ish % perpetual reserve, and was disgorged with 6.5 g/L.
Bright lemon curd, green apple, and toast are licked with anise and finishing with lingering wet chalk. A smart, friendly BdB for enjoying now.
