Juliénas
Born into a family of vignerons, Valentin Montaney sources grapes from across Bourgogne and Beaujolais for his negociant La Soeur Cadette wines. Valentin wanted to highlight the lesser-seen Juliénas cru in this bright and joyous red. This blends two sites, one on blue granite and one on sandy soils, with vines averaging 80 years. This was whole cluster fermented in concrete and then into older barrels for 8-10 months’ rest.
Perfumed plum, juicy raspberry floods a buoyant palate, with a fine buzzy granitic underlay. Tannins are long and fine, framing this fine boned wine through a scrubby herbal finish. Drinking beauty now. #GoGamayGo.

Fragrant wild raspberry, bright cherry, roiboos tea streams across the finessed palate, with long, fine tannins hugging this through the peppery end. A joy to drink.
